TXT talks about wearing crop tops for ‘Blue Hour’ and how they joined Big Hit Entertainment

TXT talked about their newest comeback in a very memorable radio appearance. All five TXT members appeared on the SBS Power FM radio show 2 O’Clock Escape Cultwo Show as special guests on November 8.

After their performance on the new title track Blue Hour, they explained the song’s Korean title particularly mentions ‘5:53’, explaining that 5:53 p.m. is when the sun sets in Seoul in October, the month they released the track. Huening Kai also added that it’s the prettiest time of the day.

Aside from the meaning behind the title, DJ Kim Tae Gyun got wind that Yeonjun, Taehyun, and Beomgyu wore crop tops in their music video for Blue Hour. Taehyun confirmed the statement, revealing that he felt embarrassed when he wore the crop top.

When DJ Kim Tae Gyun asked why Taehyun felt that way, Beomgyu humbly joked that Taehyun must have abs to wear them confidently. However, Taehyun thought he had more stomachs than muscles. So, he also felt a touch self-conscious.

Kim Tae Gyun then inquired if Soobin and Huening Kai failed to have toned abs yet. Huening Kai kiddingly responded that his tummy is shy, so it’s hidden for now.

During the interview, a number of the members also shared how they ended up connecting with Big Hit Entertainment. Huening Kai said that he auditioned for K-pop star but only made through the preliminary or first round.

After being eliminated, he got an identity card from a scout and was cast for an audition. Ultimately, the tenses joining Big Hit.

On the opposite hand, Taehyun recalled when he was approached by a casting agent telling him regarding hearing about them. Kim Tae Gyun asked him about what they heard. He then replied laughingly that his visuals were excellent. So, he ended up joining the agency by grabbing the chance to return his way.

Beomgyu also shared about his first cast and the way he was discovered. it absolutely was in his hometown, Daegu, when he ran over to his father’s car after school and rushed to urge in, and someone began pounding like sin on the window. It seems it absolutely was the casting manager who asked him if he was Beomgyu.
