tvN’s upcoming Wednesday-Thursday drama “True Beauty” released a new poster starring Moon Ga Young, ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo, and Hwang In Yeob!
Based on a popular webtoon of the same name, the romantic comedy is about Lim Ju Gyeong (Moon Ga Young), a cheerful and optimistic high school student who uses makeup to deal with her insecurities about her appearance. She’s determined to hide her bare face from the world, so she tends to overdo her makeup. She meets Lee Su Ho (Cha Eun Woo), who has wounds of his own, and they grow as they share their secrets with each other. Hwang In Yeob will play the rough and wild Han Seo Jun. In the newly released poster, Lim Ju Gyeong, Lee Su Ho, and Han Seo Jun make the classroom shine with their stunning visuals. Lim Ju Gyeong holds up a mirror that reflects her appearance without makeup. The text on the poster reads, “Do the effects of makeup also work on relationships?”
“True Beauty” is based on a webtoon that was serialized in 2018 and has an accumulated a total of 4 billion views, having garnered popularity all over the world including the United States, Japan, France, and more. The drama will be helmed by director Kim Sang Hyup who worked on “Extraordinary You.”
