The Nominees For The Top 10 Have Been Announced For The Melon Music Awards 2020 (MMA 2020)!

Melon Music Awards 2020 announces nominees for Top 10 and voting begins. That makes fans around the world delighted!

On November 11, Melon announced the 40 nominees that are in the running for Top 10 of Melon Music Awards 2020.

The Melon Music Awards is a major music awards show that is held annually in South Korea and organized by kakao M (a kakao company) through its online music store, Melon. The awards show underwent a logo rebranding starting with the 2019 edition. On October 28, 2020, Kakao M announced that the 2020 Melon Music Awards will be held for 4 days from December 2 to 5, dubbed as “MMA Week”. It will be held virtually and broadcast online due to government restrictions imposed because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Only artists who released music between November 30, 2019 and November 10, 2020  were eligible. The nominees include artists chosen by weekly Melon Popularity Award results (selected by Melon weekly charts and votes) along with artists who were additionally chosen by their Melon download and streaming counts.

Melon Music Awards 2020

The final Top 10 will be determined 80 percent based on Melon download and streaming counts and 20 percent based on votes.

Top 10 voting is open from November 11 through 20 for Melon users with verified accounts.

MMA 2020 will be held over a course of four days through MMA WEEK from December 2 through 5, with the main ceremony on December 5 at 7 p.m. KST.
