“Peninsula” release new behind-the-scenes photos from the film set!
The film, which stars Kang Dong Won, Lee Jung Hyun, and Lee Re, depicts events that take place four years after the end of “Train to Busan.” In the new stills, we can see the actors immersed intense scenes as well as relaxing and having fun between takes.
Kang Dong Won commented, “Lee Re and Lee Ye Won are so cute that I can’t help but smile when I see them. They’re really bright, so filming with them was fun.”
Lee Re also talked about working with Kang Dong Won, saying, “Kang Dong Won is so good at acting that I really want to learn from him, and Lee Jung Hyun takes really good care of me and gives me a lot of advice as a senior in the industry, and she was so helpful.”
Kim Min Jae also said, “Every single person on set, not just the actors, was incredibly helpful. Whenever I was on set, I was comfortable.”
“Peninsula” premiered in theatres in Korea on July 15 and recently surpassed 3 million moviegoers.
“Peninsula”, which takes place four years after the events of the 2016 hit zombie film “Train to Busan,” has also taken No. 1 in the box office in Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Mongolia, and is looking ahead to premieres in North America, Europe, and New Zealand in August.
