“Cheat On Me If You Can”is a comedy-mystery thriller about adults who get up to all sorts of bad behavior. Jo Yeo Jeong will star as murder mystery novelist Kang Yeo Joo who spends all day thinking up different ways to kill people, while Go Joon will play her husband Han Woo Sung, a divorce lawyer who has made a promise in writing with his wife that states, “If you cheat, you die”. In the new poster, Jo Yeo Jeong poses against a red backdrop, and she stares ahead of her with a bold gaze. The clip starts off with Kang Yeo Joo writing something with red ink, and the voiceover narrates, “Every time the wife went through something difficult, she would tend her vegetable garden. When she found out about her husband’s affair, she also went to the garden. She wanted to kill her husband, but she didn’t actually do it. However…”Kang Yeo Joo looks perfectly happy as she waters the plants, but the video takes an eerie turn when she wipes something on her neck and a red liquid that looks awfully a lot like bloodstains her skin. The same questionable liquid starts dripping from the red chilli peppers, and suddenly, a desperate hand shoots out from the ground.Unfazed, Kang Yeo Joo takes a shovel and starts slapping the hand back into the dirt, and once it’s gone, she stomps on the area for good measure. When asked to give advice to those planning to get a divorce, Han Woo Sung says, “A divorce lawsuit is a fight for evidence. I’d assume the most important thing is to avoid cheating.”Once the interview ends, the reporter compliments Han Woo Sung, and he immediately asks, “What are you doing after this?” He then asks her if she would like to have dinner with him and says, “Do you…have a boyfriend?” The reporter shoots down all his plans, responding that she’s been dieting for 18 years and that she’s in the midst of a divorce.When Han Woo Sung asks if she likes going to the movies, the reporter responds, “I have claustrophobia.” Her phone starts ringing, and as she leaves to answer it, Han Woo Sung finds out that the person on the other end is her son.Check out the full teaser below!
