How to Train Your Dragon is a 2010 American computer-animated action fantasy film loosely based on the 2003 book of the same name by Cressida Cowell, produced by DreamWorks Animation and distributed by Paramount Pictures. The film was directed by Chris Sanders and Dean DeBlois from a screenplay by Will Davies, Sanders, and DeBlois, and stars the voices of Jay Baruchel, Gerard Butler, Craig Ferguson, America Ferrera, Jonah Hill, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, T.J. Miller, and Kristen Wiig. 

**PLOT **

How To Train Your Dragon 2010: The film is set in a mythical world of the Vikings and dragons. The story follows a Viking boy named Hiccup, who lives on the island Berk, where fighting dragons was part of life. His intelligence and humor are what makes him hated by both the villagers and his father – the great Stoick, who is also the chief here. However, when Hiccup participated in dragon training with other boys his age, he saw this as an opportunity to prove that he has grown up and is a true warrior. After getting into trouble with a cannon and a dragon, Hiccup freed the dragon. Then he made friends with him and gave him a name Toothless. This relationship completely changed his life as he struggled to convince his tribe that killing dragons was unnecessary.
