JTBC’s upcoming drama “More Than Friends” has unveiled a new set of posters!
“More Than Friends” is a romance drama about two close friends who both fall in unrequited love with one another over the course of 10 years.
Shin Ye Eun stars as Kyung Woo Yeon, a calligrapher who is clueless when it comes to dating and finally decides to give up on her one-sided love for her guy friend after a decade of pining. Ong Seong Wu will play the role of photographer Lee Soo, the longtime object of Kyung Woo Yeon’s affection, who suddenly starts seeing her in a different light after years of friendship.
On September 4, More Than Friends’s new poster has been revealed that capture both the duo’s unchanging affection for one another and their unfortunate lack of timing. One poster features the 2010 Kyung Woo Yeon and the 2020 Lee Soo smiling at each other, while another shows the 2010 Lee Soo facing the 2020 Kyung Woo Yeon.
Not only do the posters highlight the characters’ unchanging friendship, but they also tease how the characters will find themselves on opposite sides of unrequited love in 2010 versus 2020.
The producers of “More Than Friends” commented, “Ong Seong Wu and Shin Ye Eun have already completely transformed into their characters. They are displaying incredibly strong chemistry as they portray the subtle changes in the relationship and emotions between Lee Soo and Kyung Woo Yeon.”
They went on to tease, “Although Lee Soo and Kyung Woo Yeon were comfortable with each other for 10 years, they suddenly wind up facing moments in which they find each other new and unfamiliar. The drama will entertainingly depict the romantic changes that take place as a result of that new gap [between them].”
