The first drama that conductor Lee Young Ae has acted in a year has been confirmed!
The actress’s agency announced on November 1 that talks to have her appear in the upcoming drama “Maestra” were ongoing (literal title).
In “Maestra,” Lee Young Ae will be playing Cha Se Eum, a female orchestra leader. The film “Maestra” is based on a French play of the same name that tells the story of a female orchestra director who struggles and develops while trying to solve the different mysteries that arise within the orchestra.
Despite being in a position that many would lust after and being a passionate former violinist, Cha Se Eum’s life is turned upside down by a secret she keeps from everyone.
Lee Young Ae’s first drama production since appearing in “Inspector Koo” last December will be “Maestra.” The drama will begin filming early in the next year.
