Lee Se-hee Will Be Starring In Teen Drama “Live On“. She Is The Newest Addition To The Cast Of JTBC’s Upcoming Drama
On August 28, JTBC comfirmed that teen drama “Live On” welcomes new cast member Lee Se-hee. Her agency Family ENT announced, “Lee Se-hee will appear on JTBC’s Live On and will show a fresh new charm as well as a different look. We ask for your love and support”.
The new school teen drama is about a campus celebrity who has only one friend because of her arrogant and condescending personality. When a mysterious person attempts to reveal her past, she joins her school’s broadcasting club and meets the perfectionist chief of the said organization.
Newcomer Lee Se-hee will be playing the role of Jung Hee-soo, a second year student at Seoyeon High School and a member of the broadcasting club. The actress made her small-screen debut in 2018 with her guest role in the series “Let Me Introduce Her. She then went on to star in the web dramas “Fight Hard”, “Love Harder” (2019), “Kiss Scene in Yeonnamdong” (2019–2020), and “Kiss Goblin” (2020) and the MBC series “Everybody Say Kungdari” (2019).
“Live On” is set to be a romance drama of two completely different characters, Seo Yeon High School celebrity Baek Ho Rang (played by Jung Da Bin), who enters the school’s broadcasting club with suspicious motives, and Go Eun Taek (played by Minhyun), the head of the broadcasting club.
Yang Hye Ji will take on the role of Ji So Hyun, the deputy head of the broadcasting club and a hardworking student with impressive grades. Kang Jae Yi (played by Yeonwoo) is Do Woo Jae’s girlfriend who showers him with love, while Byungchan will play Kim Yoo Shin, a Beagle-like, ingenuous guy.
Minhyun set aside his signature sweetness to become the cold perfectionist that Go Eun Taek is, while Jung Da Bin transformed into Baek Ho Rang, a social media influencer who believes she’s better than everyone. Noh Jong Hyun, Yang Hye Ji, Yeonwoo, and Byungchan also added more fun to the script by bringing their characters to life.
Aside from “Live On”, Lee is also set to appear in Love Revolution, which is scheduled for broadcast this coming September 1 on “Kakao M”, and in “White Crow”, one of the episodes of MBC’s “SF8 series”. The episode is set to air this September 18. “SF8” was screened at the 24th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BiFan) and has been receiving attention for its story line and the emotional performance of its cast.
“Live On” was previously scheduled for broadcast this coming November on JTBC. However, the series is among those reported that have halted production in light of the pandemic, which is threatening the safety of the whole industry. JTBC has recently ordered the temporary pause on drama production until further announcement.
