Joo Won's new drama Alice premiered to no. 1 ratings. It seemed that this SBS fantasy drama had an initial successful kick-start.

“Alice” is a new sci-fi action thriller starring Joo Won as Park Jin Gyeom, a detective who discovers the existence of time travel and winds up crossing paths with a woman who looks exactly like his mother (played by Kim Hee Sun).

On August 28, the new drama aired its first episode, which took first place in its time slot across all public broadcast channels. According to Nielsen Korea, the premiere of “Alice” scored average nationwide ratings of 4.1 percent and 6.1 percent for its two parts.

This is the first movie of Joo Woon after being discharged from the military. That's why the actor is really excited to part take in different scenarios.

Meanwhile, JTBC’s “Graceful Friends” canceled its broadcast due to a special news report on COVID-19. The drama will air its final two episodes next week, on September 4 and 5.
