Jang Dong Yoon is in talks to star in new fantasy romance drama named "The Fairy and the Bald Idol". Are you looking forward to this? 

On December 17, Jang Dong Yoon’s management agency confirmed that the actor is currently in talks to appear in the upcoming drama “The Fairy and the Bald Idol” (working title). A representative of his agency cautiously stated, “It’s true that he has received a casting offer for the drama, but nothing has yet been decided.”

A modern retelling of the classic Korean folk tale “The Fairy and the Woodcutter,” “The Fairy and the Bald Idol” will be a fantasy drama about a fairy who descends from the heavens and winds up living with an idol who has become bald.

The drama is currently in talks to air on SBS, with the network commenting, “Nothing has been confirmed, but it is one of the dramas that we are considering airing.”

After recently wrapping up his latest drama “Search,” Jang Dong Yoon is also gearing up to star in the upcoming fantasy-action period drama “Joseon Exorcist” (literal translation) alongside Kam Woo Sung and Park Sung Hoon.
