The agency of Hyun Bin has responded to reports about purchasing a house to prepare for marriage with his girlfriend Son Ye Jin.

Previously, Dispatch reported that Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin had been dating since the conclusion of their drama “Crash Landing on You.” It was then confirmed by both actors’ agencies that they are in a romantic relationship.

On January 30, Ilyo Newspaper reported that Hyun Bin recently moved to Guri, Gyeonggi Province after purchasing a 70-pyeong (approximately 2,491 square feet) luxury villa for 4.8 billion won (approximately 4.3 million USD).

The news media outlet added he could have done that with marriage in mind and that his new home is a penthouse for one generation to use. It is in an eco-friendly neighborhood adjacent to Seoul, and it is also famous for being a place where many celebrities and artists live. Some of the stars who reside in that neighborhood are Park Jin Young and Oh Yeon Seo.

On the same day, Hyun Bin’s agency VAST Entertainment clarified, “It was not purchased as a marital home. We cannot confirm the details because this concerns a private residence.”
