She talked about not regretting becoming an idol, she said,

“I have absolutely no regrets when it involves becoming an idol like I understand that thanks to the disbandment that there may be this misconception that didn’t want to become an idol again or I would just not have a go at it if I could turn back time, and that’s definitely not true.

Like, I loved the amazing experience that I had, I loved having the ability to urge to understand the Korean culture and history a touch better, and that I think that it’s really important.

And I think that, um, whether or not I had to redo all of it, good and bad, I’d definitely know.”

Towards the tip of the video, she answered the foremost requested question, ‘What happened to PRISTIN?”.

Here is her answer:

“I know that plenty of you guys are anxious to listen to my answer. And… What I can tell you is that lots of things happen behind the scenes that you just guys are unaware of. And ultimately, we all came to the choice.

We all came to the present mutual agreement that it might be best if we all went our separate paths.

We all have our own callings and that we thought that at now it might be best if we went in our separate directions.

And while our time as PRISTIN is, was incredibly meaningful, it absolutely was important that we variety of branched out and take a look at various things now.”

Kyla also cleared up speculations that she went on hiatus due to hateful comments she received,

“And also, plenty of you guys have a style of speculated why I went on hiatus and that I can tell you now that it wasn’t thanks to the hate comments, it wasn’t because you recognize of, my weight and the way that affected my mental state.

I can understand why you’d say that but, surely the rationale why I went on hiatus is because I ended up getting injured. I got a concussion while filming our second music video, and also the doctors and my company decided that it’d be best if I took a period to rest and endure this injury.

They all thought that it had been important that I fully recovered before we continued on with any new promotions. So that’s the rationale, and let me just say that I do know that there are plenty of rumors, there are lots of speculations, there is plenty of being, there are lots of articles that kind of went around. Saying oh, this is often what happened or oh, this can be what happened, and let me just tell you. That’s not true.

You guys can speculate what happened all you would like, but ultimately, we all just thought that it had been best if we disband it and although it’s an unfortunate situation, we all take our greatest memories and our greatest experience from PRISTIN. And we’re just, we’re all so very grateful that it happened and that we had all of those amazing experiences together, and that I think that that’s the foremost important part. You know, it absolutely was a really positive experience all around, and I’m gonna never trade it for the globe. So, please don’t hear any rumors.”
