The upcoming romance drama “Lovestruck in the City” has unveiled its main poster of Ji Chang Wook and Kim Ji Won!
“Lovestruck in the City” (literal translation) is an upcoming KakaoTV original drama about the real romance of young people who are fighting to survive in the hectic city. It is being produced with multiple seasons in mind, and the first is titled “My Lovable Camera Thief.”
Ji Chang Wook and Kim Ji Won’s upcoming drama unveils romantic main poster
Ji Chang Wook plays a passionate architect named Park Jae Won, who is chasing after a girl called the “camera thief” who stole his heart one summer night a year ago. Kim Ji Won plays a freelance marketer named Lee Eun Oh, who impulsively adopts a secret alter ego named Yoon Sun Ah and ends up falling in love with Park Jae Won.
In the new poster, Ji Chang Wook and Kim Ji Won enjoy a romantic date on a rooftop surrounded by fireworks. Kim Ji Won channels her character’s alter ego, Yoon Sun Ah, who is a free spirit who isn’t afraid to show her wild side. Ji Chang Wook shows his character’s devotion to the woman he loves by directing his warm gaze in her direction. The caption reads, “The questions that start after a breakup seek the way to love.”

The upcoming drama will be helmed by director Park Shin Woo, who worked on “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” and “Don’t Dare to Dream (Jealousy Incarnate),” and written by scriptwriter Jung Hyun Jung, who wrote “I Need Romance” and “Romance is a Bonus Book.”
The production team of “Lovestruck in the City” shared, “Actor Ji Chang Wook, who has both warmth and intensity, is Park Jae Won himself.” They added that Ji Chang Wook harmoniously portrayed both his character’s heated passion and romantic ideals, revealing that viewers will be able to see a new side of Ji Chang Wook in the upcoming drama.

“Lovestruck in the City” will star Ji Chang Wook as Park Chae Won, an honest and overly passionate architect who loves the city streets. After a woman that he calls the “camera thief” steals his heart one summer night and then disappears, he is unable to get over her.
Meanwhile, Kim Ji Won will star in the drama as Lee Eun Oh, a freelance marketer who spontaneously decides to adopt a false identity in an unfamiliar place for fun. However, while posing as the free-spirited Yoon Sun Ah, who is wilder and more eccentric than Lee Eun Oh’s ordinary personality, she accidentally ends up falling in love with Park Chae Won.
In the newly released stills, Kim Ji Won looks blissful as she enjoys her freedom to its fullest. While playing volleyball on the beach, she couldn’t care less whether she gets covered in sand or not—and in another photo, she happily takes photos with a camera, piquing viewers’ curiosity further about the meaning behind the intriguing title “My Lovable Camera Thief”.
