Behind-the-scenes photos from Bae In Hyuk and Han Ji Hyun’s swoon-inducing kiss scene have been released by SBS’s “Cheer Up”!
The college cheer squad in “Cheer Up,” a campus mystery rom-com, has outlived its prime and is now in danger of disintegrating. Han Ji Hyun portrays Do Hae Yi, a rookie cheerleader for Yonhee University’s Theia team who is upbeat while dealing with challenging circumstances at home. Theia’s frequently misunderstood captain Park Jung Woo, played by Bae In Hyuk, is a strict upholder of the law but also a romantic at heart.
Bae In Hyuk and Han Ji Hyun are shown in the opening scene of the new making-of video having a romantic conversation while getting ready for their date scene at the observatory. Bae In Hyuk holds the ladder while Han Ji Hyun climbs it to look through the telescope. Bae In Hyuk also receives instruction from an actual professional on how to replace the telescope lens.
Before a drinking scene, Bae In Hyuk and Han Ji Hyun enjoy chatting with the director. The two main actors finish filming as they improvise the scenario in which they try to buy beverages. But they quickly discover that neither of them has any money to pay, and even Bae In Hyuk’s bag is empty.
Finally, two separate kiss sequences in the rain are recorded by Bae In Hyuk and Han Ji Hyun. Despite the challenges of finding the ideal angle to kiss while holding an umbrella, the couple is cheerful and upbeat despite the situation. Bae In Hyuk tilts the umbrella a little closer to Han Ji Hyun to keep her from getting too wet as Han Ji Hyun waves her hands around his face before selecting where and how to place them. After their kissing session, Han Ji Hyun tenderly responds by gently cleaning Bae In Hyuk’s face.
