BLACKPINK sets new Korean girl group record with “Ice Cream”, which surpassed 10 million views on Youtube within three hours.

The girl group released their music video for “Ice Cream” with Selena Gomez on August 28 at 1 p.m. KST. The music video surpassed 10 million views on YouTube at approximately 3:55 p.m. KST, which is just under three hours since its release.

Their newly released single “Ice Cream” is now the fastest Korean girl group music video to reach 10 million views, with the previous record of three hours and 40 minutes being held by BLACKPINK’s “How You Like That.”

Produced by TEDDY, 24, Tommy Brown, and Mr. Franks, “Ice Cream” is a pop song with a simple rhythm and bright sound. The lyrics express appearing cold on the outside but actually being sweet, which is like ice cream.
