Korean actors always know how to kill our eyes, but wait until you see them in uniform. Here are 14 lead K-Drama actors who look super sassy in uniform.
When you think of leading K-drama men in military uniforms, Hyun Bin is one of the first that comes to mind. It could be because he was in a military uniform for majority of his role as Ri Jung Hyuk in the hit series “Crash Landing On You”. It could also be because it wasn’t the only role he’s been in where he has had to wear a uniform! Nonetheless, we loved him in it and definitely wouldn’t mind seeing him in one again—hopefully soon.
Song Joong Ki
Another actor that comes to mind when you think of K-drama actors in military uniform is Song Joong Ki. His role as the charming and witty Yoo Shi Jin in “Descendants of the Sun” sealed the deal in terms of looking pretty spiffy in military gear. The drama’s fans sure seeing Song Joong Ki (and many other men) in military uniforms for an entire series!
Ji Chang Wook
To be fair, Ji Chang Wook has worn various uniforms throughout his career that have made him pretty swoon-worthy, but the one that really sticks out is his role in “The K2” as the bodyguard. More specifically, when he wore that army combat uniform, it was pretty irresistible, and he did it justice.
I should also mention his police officer uniform from the same series.
Jung Hae In
There were several roles where Jung Hae In sported some sort of uniform attire, and although it was difficult to choose between the few, the one that really stands out when he wore the military uniform in “Prison Playbook.” He totally fitted in it.
Ryu Jun Yeol
This heading was pretty much created just for Ryu Jun Yeol because his very brief appearance in the last couple episodes in “Reply 1988” was unforgettable. In the series, Jung Pal returns home after several years and reunites with his childhood friends. Talk about making an impression on your first love who turned you down for your best friend. He definitely didn’t have to hang his head in shame showing up in that uniform!
Lee Min Ho
Lee Min Ho is also one of those actors who has worn several uniforms in his past K-dramas. And although his most recent getup as the naval officer in “The King: Eternal Monarch” was pretty heavenly, we also can’t fail to mention the perfection he was in a pilot uniform in “The Legend of the Blue Sea” (even though he wasn’t really a pilot).
Police Officer/Detective Uniform
It’s amazing how handsome Ji Soo was in “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon,” and yet he still managed to look so manly in the police uniform. Ji Soo as In Gook Doo, Do Bong Soon’s first love, was such a heartthrob. His rough and tough persona made him pretty irresistible, but then when he appeared in that police uniform, it was perfection.
Lee Joon Gi
Lee Joon Gi starred as the the determined and head-strong police officer Kim Hyun Joon in “Criminal Minds”. Viewers were blessed to see him in uniform for a lot of the series, and he was so effortlessly good in his portrayal as a cop. The all-black look on him totally worked!
Kang Ha Neul
Kang Ha Neul has also played the cop role in various K-dramas and movies, but the one that really comes to mind is his role as the outgoing and determined Hwang Yong Sik in “When the Camellia Blooms.” He was not only a character who was adorably head over heels in love with the single mom Dong Baek (Gong Hyo Jin), but he was also a police officer who was passionate about keeping his small town safe.
Seo Kang Joon
Seo Kang Joon as the charismatic and intense policeman Kim Young Goon in “Watcher” was one of the best roles he has ever done. Not only was his role mature and challenging, he pulled off the uniform look flawlessly. We could get used to him being in more roles similar to this one!
Jang Ki Yong
Jang Ki Yong is an up and coming actor who has proven time and time again that he looks fantastic in uniform. But the role that really showcased how well he can sport the cop uniform was his role as Chae Do Jin in “Come and Hug Me”. We’ll let the photo speak for itself.
Yoo Seung Ho
In Yoo Seung Ho‘s most recent role in “Memorist”, he played Dong Baek, a detective with supernatural abilities to see a person’s memories. He has definitely shed his child actor image through recent roles, and seeing him in that uniform definitely helped!
Taekwondo/Martial Arts Uniform
Lee Seung Gi
In “Vagabond,” Lee Seung Gi played the aspiring action actor by the name of Cha Dal Geon who was on a mission to avenge his nephew’s death. Lee Seung Gi has mentioned that he loves to stay in shape, especially after leaving the military, which is probably why he looked so good in this taekwondo uniform!
Park Seo Joon
Park Seo Joon as the aloof and innocent Go Dong Man in “Fight For My Way” was hands down one of the most entertaining roles he has ever played. The passion in which he tried to achieve his dreams was so inspiring and so relatable! He also sported that taekwondo outfit so well and completed the look off with those cool shades.
